Yorkshire in England is not the place you would usually expect to find a popular Football Club. That being said, Sheffield F.C. is exactly that, founded in South Yorkshire. Not only are they a very popular club, but they actually have a big fan base due to the fact that they are the oldest club in the World that still plays Association Football, being founded in 1857. In all honesty, the team does struggle in comparison to top teams in the UK, and are not in the top league, currently competing in the Northern Premier League Division. They have used a range of places as their home ground over the years, take Bramall Lane for instance. Of course, they have settled at a new ground since then, being the Coach and Horses Ground in Dronfield, Derbyshire.

It has been a long time since there has been a Sheffield Derby. The first recorded event took place back in 1860, when Sheffield took on Hallam for the first time. Whilst they are a popular club, they are no necessarily one of the top clubs in the UK. In fact, they would not touch the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea. Before long they had a plan in place and a meeting in 1857 was all that was needed to confirm the development of the Sheffield Football Team. Lastly, the Cleveland Cavs have finally emerged and look to be playing their best basketball of the season. While they got off to a slow start, it looks like they’ve finally adjusted to the presence of Shaquille O’Neal in their lineup and they clearly look like the best in the East now. The challenge here will be breaking through in the playoffs and beating the Boston and Orlando teams that shut them down during each of the last two years.

One of my hobbies is playing fantasy sports leagues. I’ve playing for a while now and have fantasy teams in baseball, basketball and football. I’ve also tried other basic, sports based games.

Going back even further doesn\’t give a very fair debate, as the whole nature of the game was different; equipment and fields etc. Ok, Willie Mays and Ted Williams were great in their day; to compare them with Pujols is unfair to all three of them.

As the game has evolved so much, we can\’t tell how well players from the past would have played today, and vice versa. We can consider Pujols to be the batsman of our times on his merits alone.

To start with, there is a possibility he can still improve as he doesn\’t hit 30 until his next birthday. His consistency has been second to none; few players can boast that they have turned out every week and played like Pujols has, let\’s check out a few of his statistics.

Albert Pujols has a career average that is capable of winning a league. His overall average is an amazing .334. His second season brought about the lowest average of .312 and his worst since has been .327.

As the sport continues to evolve, many players and fans of tennis will debate the merits of the most important skill that a player can possess.

So it\’s all just conjecture really, but it\’s still worth having a debate over just for the fun of it and there are many aspects of the sport to choose from.

I have listed a few elements to consider. Which do you think are important?

What about volleying? A game that it going too smoothly can become a disadvantage for opponents as point may easily be lost. Just take a look back at players of the past such as John McEnroe.

Is baseline play across the net favoured by modern games? A Lot of tennis experts would argue in favour. Andy Roddick would spend time playing the game from the net but he now prefers the baseline play. And take the example of Rafael Nadal who also takes control from the rear of the court.

On the other hand, maybe it is the serve that is important. A strong serve will give the player a distinct advantage over their opponent and if you consider the example of Roddick who will control the course of the match with his serve if he has made it difficult for his opponent to break them.

And what about the speed of the players? It obviously helps out a lot if the player can reach the ball every time and the opponent then has to work that bit harder to gain a point.

The last factor is the x-factor, and the one that I personally feel matters most. This is the mental game. The superstars like Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have some of the toughest mental games in the history of the sport.

With the ability to rarely be rattled, their stoic composure and never say die attitude wins them so many more matches than the stats would indicate.
