Illegal Fishing: Blocking Access to the EU Market

Recent estimates show that it represents between 15-20% of global catches. As a major world market for fisheries products, the EU proposes the establishment of a system to prevent, deter and eliminate this practice by shutting the door for products of illegal fishing, thus depriving the poachers of their sole motivation: profits.
