Since when did a jobcentre become a refuge for ghosts or a place to find an exorcist, ha ha, the acting is so bad, it’s like watching eldorado.

  15. tvarganon 03 Mar 2010 at 3:02 am

Yeah, the hooded ghost seems to be the “darling” of the paranormal TV show, movie etc.

Also it could be argued that it is natural to sometimes mistake shadows, trees, tricks of the light etc as a human shape- but because it is just an object (or whatever) it doesn’t have a face, or hair, so people see it has a “hooded human.” Also hooded outfits tend to be the same colour- so a tree stump can become a “brown robe” etc, whereas it is harder for objects to appear as eg a shirt and blue jeans

i dont think hooded figures happen half as much as its portrayed i think it just seems more scary and mecabre for them to hve no face

  17. tvarganon 03 Mar 2010 at 3:02 am

Its odd how so many ghosts are faceless. Monks, Nuns, Highwaymen with hats and scarves, white sheets… and now the hooded fisherman in yellow overalls.

  18. tvarganon 03 Mar 2010 at 3:02 am

Yeah- they do- accent, style, theme and quality of acting. Oh dear. :-)

  19. tvarganon 03 Mar 2010 at 3:02 am

I used to be an Orcist. I don’t do it any more- so I guess that makes me an Exorcist!
